How to use Met Janisha Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Met Janisha Tablet is to be taken with food.Met Janisha Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.
How Met Janisha Tablet works
Met Janisha Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin and teneligliptin. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin.Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor which works by increasing the release of insulin from pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces both fasting and postmeal sugar levels. Together, they provide better control of blood sugar.
Common Nausea, Altered taste, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite, Headache, Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar level) in combination with insulin or sulphonylurea, Upper respiratory tract infection, Nasopharyngitis.
